Tarrant County criminal records do not sit in one database. The Sheriff's Office holds jail and booking material, the county and district clerks maintain different court files, and the Texas Department of Public Safety operates statewide criminal-history systems and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. We built this private resource to make those lines clear. Readers can identify the right public office, official portal, mailing address, or phone number without mistaking one kind of record for another.

Why We Built This Site

Texas provides several public access routes, but each custodian answers a different question. Tarrant County Sheriff's Office records cover local custody and bookings. The District Clerk maintains felony files, while the County Clerk maintains Class A and B misdemeanor cases. Texas Department of Public Safety records serve a statewide role, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice tracks state-prison custody. Registry searches run through the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry.
